Chromosome 14 (human)

In the human genome, chromosome 14 is one of the 23 chromosomes. It is an acrocentric chromosome, found within group D of the human karyotype. As with all autosomes, somatic cells carry two copies of chromosome 14, while gametes carry only one copy.

Chromosome 14 is approximately 109 Mbp (million base pairs) in length, comprising ~3-3.5% of the haploid genome
