Chromosome 11 (human)

In the human genome, chromosome 11 is one of the 23 chromosomes. It is a submetacentric chromosome, found within group C of the human karyotype. As with all autosomes, somatic cells carry two copies of chromosome 11, while gametes carry only one copy.

Chromosome 11 is approximately 134.5 Mbp (million base pairs) in length, comprising ~4-4.5% of the haploid genome
