Chromosome 10 (human)


In the human genome, chromosome 10 is one of the 23 chromosomes. It is a submetacentric chromosome, found within group C of the human karyotype. As with all autosomes, somatic cells carry two copies of chromosome 10, while gametes carry only one copy.

Chromosome 10 is approximately 135 Mbp (million base pairs) in length, comprising ~4-4.5% of the haploid genome
